Andalas Energy and Power Forms Partnership with PP Energi to Develop Gas Fired Power Plant in Indonesia

Deal Summary

Andalas Energy and Power plc, a power generation company has formed partnership with PT PP Energi, a subsidiary of PT PP (Persero) Tbk, for the construction and development of Jambi-1 independent gas-fired wellhead power facility in Jambi Province, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The total installed capacity of the power plant will be 30 MW. The commercial operation of the power plant is expected to commence by the end of 2019. The power generated from the power plant will be sold to PT PLN (Persero).

Andalas Energy and Power will hold 49% stake and PT PP Energi will hold 51% stake in the power plant. The gas fired power plant is expected to generate revenue in excess of USD10 million per annum (gross) for 20 years.
