Provincie Fryslan to Acquire Minority Stake in Fryslan Offshore Wind Power Plant in Netherlands for USD136.1 Million

The Council for the Dutch province of Fryslan, has agreed to acquire minority stake in Fryslan offshore wind power plant in Fryslan Province, Netherlands, for a purchase considration of EUR127 million (USD136.14 million). The project will have a maximum installed capacity of 320 MW, consists of 89 wind turbines and is expected to generate enough energy to power 340,000 households. The power plant will be situated on the IJsselmeer lake. The wind power plant will be is developed by Ventolines BV.
