Sunday Energy Receives Three Contracts To Build Solar PV Power Plants In Negev

Sunday Energy Ltd. (Sunday Energy) has received contracts to build three solar PV plants in the regions of Kibbutz Holit, Moshav Nir Moshe, and Moshav Paamei Tashaz, located in Negev, globes reported. As per the agreement, the company will construct a 36 MW solar PV array on 150-acre site at each of the communities for a total projected investment of NIS650 million.
Sunday Energy will install a PV array on industrial land within at Kibbutz Holit's built-up area, which helps rezoning the land for electricity production. The remaining two sites, Nir Moshe and Paamei Tashaz, are agricultural lands owned by the moshavim.

The company said that its projects backlog and the aggregate investment in the projects now accounts to 104 MW and NIS2 billion, respectively.
