HongKong Electric Holding Limited, an integrated energy company, plans to invest HKD3,000 million ($386.20 million) for the construction of Southwest Lamma Channel wind power project located at Lamma Island, southwest of Hong Kong. The project will have a total installed capacity of 100 MW.

The project will provide power to 50,000 households and account for up to 2% of the company's annual electricity production. The project is expected to be completed in 2015.
